Original: On 04/19/23 at 1853 hours, Fire Rescue, EMS, and AST responded to mile 99 of the Parks Highway near Talkeetna for the report of a 43-year-old male overdosing on drugs. CPR was performed for over 30 minutes and Narcan was administered. However, the male was declared deceased. The SME took possession of the deceased remains and next of kin was notified. Investigation continues, and AST is requesting anyone with information about the incident to contact Crime Stoppers at 745-3333 or AST dispatch at 352-5401.
