For those who have already endured immense pain and suffering, this association can be deeply triggering and hurtful. It sends a disheartening message to survivors, undermining their faith in an organization that should prioritize their healing and well-being.

The man died in April. You seem to be beating a dead horse in order to cast a negative shadow on a group trying to stop corruption against the odds.
I did not know the man, but heard that he was working very hard to do the right thing. He made a bad mistake 17 years ago when in his 20’s. A mistake he did not repeat. Why are you still punishing a dead man?
Thank you all for engaging in this critical discussion about the recent developments surrounding The Real Alaska Grand Jurors’ Association. It’s important to address some additional information that has surfaced, shedding more light on the situation.
Firstly, it has been revealed that Holly Sheldon Lee is operating a splinter group, and as of now, there is no official association in place. This new information raises questions about the legitimacy and transparency of the organization’s operations. As a community, we must have full clarity about entities representing justice and trust in our area.
Now, we understand that emotions are running high, and some argue that we are dwelling on the past. It is essential to recognize that the man in question tragically passed away in April, and we extend our condolences to his loved ones. However, it’s crucial to remember that the concerns raised go beyond an individual. They touch upon the credibility and public perception of the entire association.
While the man may have made efforts to do the right thing after a mistake seventeen years ago, the controversy stems from the decision to appoint a convicted pedophile as the face of an organization that should uphold justice and fairness. It’s about addressing the potential consequences on the reputation of the justice system as a whole.
Transparency and open dialogue are now more critical than ever. As a community, we deserve to know the truth behind the operations of any group claiming to represent justice. Let’s work together to ensure that organizations aiming to stop corruption and promote justice do so with integrity, adhering to ethical standards and fostering a safe environment for everyone.
Hello, RL Franklin. As a woman who was harmed as a child in such a manner, I can tell you that I am always thinking of that time. It scares me, causes me great distress, and I still get nightmares, and a great deal more. This happened to me 25 years ago. Think of what the victim of this man has to go through, much younger than myself.
Thank you for bravely sharing your perspective and personal experience. We deeply empathize with the pain and distress you have endured due to the traumatic experiences from your past. It takes incredible courage to open up about such sensitive and harrowing matters.
Your words highlight the lasting impact that childhood trauma can have on survivors, and it serves as a stark reminder of the immense pain that victims of such crimes endure. Your strength in speaking out sheds light on the importance of acknowledging the ongoing struggles faced by survivors, even years after the traumatic events.
Indeed, the victim of this man’s actions must be going through an unimaginably challenging and distressing time. As a community, it is crucial that we recognize the gravity of these situations and work together to ensure that survivors are treated with the utmost compassion, empathy, and support they deserve.
Your voice, along with the voices of countless others who have experienced similar traumas, reminds us of the urgent need to prioritize healing, justice, and prevention. We must create a safe and supportive environment where survivors can seek help, and where individuals who commit such heinous acts are held accountable for their actions.
Let us continue to raise awareness, advocate for survivors, and work towards a society that fosters empathy, understanding, and protection for the vulnerable among us.
This man had many run ins with Law Enforcement not long ago. One instance is drug charges. At the age of 16 I was raped. This is not something that just goes away. His victim and others will live with his actions for the rest of their lives. The man in this article lived right down the road from my family. We watched our kids outside because of him. He was also extremely hot headed. On a 25 mile per hour road, my daughter was driving at 27 mph. He pulled up behind us and started driving irrational. He passed us at a high rate of speed, causing gravel to fly up at us. My daughter honked at him, and he proceeded to turn, blocking us. He than began calling my daughter unspeakable words. He was NOT a good man! Holly needs removed. Her actions need removed. Her actions are disgraceful on this.
This is bs! He’s was a registered sex offender and complete asshole! Anyone who agrees with his face being used needs help especially if you have children.
If Holly appointed him she deserves the heat, but I’m not so sure she did
Obviously Holly Sheldon Lee was not vetted when the decision was made to put her in any position in the Real Alaska Grand Jurors Association.
